TRIGGER
Transnational Initiative for Guidance of Graduated and Entrepreneurship
The “TRIGGER” project aims to implement a comprehensive set of actions with the aim of integrating 200 new sciences into the labor market of the Greece-Bulgaria cross-border region as well as highlighting development perspectives based on competitiveness, productivity and innovation.
By investing in the region’s human capital, the project contributes to establishing networking and establishing synergies between academic institutions and the business community and creating opportunities for young people to enter the labor market.
Goals
- Investment in human capital.
- Improving the skills of human capital in order to meet the needs of businesses in the region.
- Stimulation of entrepreneurship.
- Promote networking between the research and business communities to embed innovation. in the productive sectors of the economy.
Results
- Creation of a permanent and sustainable support structure for employment and entrepreneurship.
- Recording the current situation and prospects for business activities.
- Educational seminars.
- Developing digital applications for potential entrepreneurs.
- Developing an incubator (virtual and physical) that will provide mentorship to young aspiring entrepreneurs.
Our contribution
Euroaction S.A supported the Ministry of Administrative Reconstruction and provided technical and advisory support for the management and implementation of the project to the Ministry of Interior and Administrative Reconstruction (Lead Partner) and the Institute of Technology & Human Resources Development (IATAP).
Individual actions implemented within the project include:
- The preparation of a study aimed at the development of the financing market.
- The preparation of a study recording the professions and business activities in the cross-border area and the opportunities for the development of new businesses.
- The organization of Open Labs (OpenLabs).
- The organization of seminars and round table workshops, development of the corresponding educational material and the evaluation of the participants.
- The implementation of part of the pre-incubator function.
- The implementation of part of the project’s publicity activities (drafting of a communication plan, design of the project’s website, organization of a conference).
