Joint reference strategies for rural activities of reduced inputs

The AGRO_LESS project aims to develop reduced input farming practices for irrigation, fertilization, and plant protection. This approach differs from traditional methods as it uses real-time data production tools to determine the field’s spatial variability and avoid excessive input application. This leads to positive results for the environment and economy. The project also aims to create an agricultural standard to certify these reduced input protocols, providing benefits in product added value, traceability, and competitiveness in markets.

Contribution

Euroaction provided technical and advisory support for the management and implementation of the project in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, while also undertaking the preparation of a technical study for the implementation of precision agriculture in the Region of Eastern Macedonia – Thrace, as well as a feasibility study regarding the future implementation of reduced input agriculture in the region.
