The Ministry of Economy & Finance used various proposals, directions, policy options, quantitative data, and studies to create the NSRF 2007-2013 as the primary document for programming European Union Funds at the national level during that period. They designed the OPs of the NSRF 2007-2013 to implement the country’s strategic options effectively, taking into account new data. The OPs included eight Sectoral OPs, five Regional OPs, and fourteen European Territorial Cooperation Programs. They implemented accessibility infrastructures within a sectoral OP, while integrating health and culture sectors into Regional and Sectoral OPs.
