Fostering Cooperation and mobilization composing clusters
The project “InCommon” aims to promote the traditional products and recipes of the cross-border area of Greece – Albania. The core of the project is the promotion of a basket of products in each project area, and the adoption of a “quality logo” which accompanies local businesses and products that meet a set of quality criteria identified within the project. Businesses bearing the quality logo are required to use traditional local products as well as traditional cooking recipes.
The ambition of this effort is to create “quality areas” that will strengthen traditional products in a strategic way, and which in turn will form the basis for the development of culinary tourism in the cross-border area.

- Development of a quality-oriented strategy for the tourism development of the project area.
- Promotion of culinary tourism.
- Cross-border cooperation and strengthening of local and traditional products.
- Improving the quality of the products and services provided.

Contribution
EUROACTION A.E. took the initiative to formulate the proposal and find funding for the project. At the implementation level, our company undertook a series of actions, such as:
- Elaboration of a study to determine the basket of traditional goods.
- Elaboration of a study for the formation of a strategy for the dissemination of the quality logo of traditional products.
- Drafting of a protocol to maintain the high quality of local products.
- Organization of the 1st International Festival of Traditional Recipes in the region.
- Organization of an Open Conference to promote local products and recipes.
- Evaluation of the project.
